A lot depends on your Doctors interests. Van Dusen gardens is a nice botanical garden which is off the tourist beaten track. And she (he) should have late afternoon drinks at Seasons in the Park in Queen Elizabeth Park - good views of Downtown Vancouver. The Museum of Anthropology at UBC is about 20-30 minutes from downtown, but is worth a visit: Home - Museum of Anthropology at UBC

However this is more of an art festival than what we typically see in this forum.
arthur_mcculloch2
Thanks michael_levy|3. I still think you should exhibit - your shots have have been a deep ethnography of Vancouver. I suspect my doctor (I am dying), does not even have a camera. Prescribed an antibiotic, this last monday, which has not been available in Oz for the last year and a half. Inspires confidence in modern medical science. Lol. Will post photos soon. Thank you again. Regards, Arthur

arthur_mcculloch2
stric1975, that is a good shot, evocative. You are blessed. Allen Herbert, that second shot of the flowers (don't what they are) is just so good. I remember a line from, regrettably, a Tom Cruise movie: 'you could spend your life searching for the perfect cherry blossom; and it would not be a life wasted'. It's damn good. So my contributions, from a dinner we had with friends last saturday, together with a crazy last shot of some friends at the pub this last sunday. All with monochrom M, and my go to lens, the trusty voigtlander 75mm.

Bill Bowes
Just down my drive way a clump of Spyder Lillys keep me busy. . both the flowers & leaves are of interest, and on occasion a bright green South American Geeko. This time it was the flowers with the "new" Kiev-4A / Jupiter-8 combo. UFX100 & Pyrocat HDC. V600 scan. Aloha, Bill
