{W/NW}: People piccies

I have posted this photo previously. Some have said that it is totally "gross." Oh well, it's just a young boy doing what he enjoys most...eating. This was taken at our local once-a-month grange breakfast. This coming Sunday, I will take a few more, but I will use a 1962 Yashica Lynx 14 camera with b/w. Let's see what happens.<div>00FVPg-28571684.jpg.15d01ef543c0f8781966776ad2d4ea8e.jpg</div>

Could someone please explain to me how to post a freaking picture properly? The

instructions say keep it below 511 pixels wide. The one I just submitted was 500. Yet it

doesn't display on the thread--you have to click on it. I looked at the first picture's size on

this thread (NELS) in PS and it was 800 pixels wide. It shows up beautifully and mine

doesn't. What gives?

Thanks,

Craig

Craig:

For your pic to display in-line, it has to be 511 pixels wide, or less, less than about 100K, *and* it must have a caption entered in the caption field. Only then will it display in-line.

Or, your can upload it to your gallery or host it elsewhere, then enter your message as HTML. This is what Nels (and others) is doing. Here's how to reference the pic with an HTML tag: <img src="complete url to your image"> Be sure to enclose the URL in quotes, and be sure to chose HTML where it says "The above text is:" on the entry screen. When you hit Submit, you should see your image. If you don't, use your Back button to go back and correct the problem.
