  1. Call 'em portraits, if that floats your boat...just post 'em. It's been a while since we had one of those threads.

  4. He actually shoots M2s with the CV 15mm. I have proof. On another roll, of course...
  5. ..............................
  6. James, with all the pix you shot of me was that the BEST? Dang! And Monkey wants to see some of the pix with him in them too. James is right of course. I frequently do put the 15mm Heliar on one of the M2 bodies.

  8. These are all great, well except for one.
  9. Rene, thats a really nice photo.
  10. I have posted this photo previously. Some have said that it is totally "gross." Oh well, it's just a young boy doing what he enjoys most...eating. This was taken at our local once-a-month grange breakfast. This coming Sunday, I will take a few more, but I will use a 1962 Yashica Lynx 14 camera with b/w. Let's see what happens.
  11. Al, I like that photo. You can do Monkey later. I hear that there may be a "monkey T-Shirt" coming up!

So sad we can't all be a bit more light-hearted, humorous, and a bit more joyful about ourselves, and toward others.
  12. Thank you Graham.

  16. Could someone please explain to me how to post a freaking picture properly? The
instructions say keep it below 511 pixels wide. The one I just submitted was 500. Yet it
doesn't display on the thread--you have to click on it. I looked at the first picture's size on
this thread (NELS) in PS and it was 800 pixels wide. It shows up beautifully and mine
    doesn't. What gives?

  17. Craig, not only does the file have to be 511 pixels or less, it needs to be 100k or less in order to display inline. Your file is 493 pixels.
  18. Thanks, Jay. I know my file is 498, but I see Nels' file is 1.28 million! And it's 800 wide. By
the time I size mine down to less than 100, it's tiny. What am I doing wrong???

  19. Craig, Nels's photo is hosted not in PN. He hyperlinked that picture onto here, which can go beyond 511..
  20. Craig, if you want to post larger than 100k and wider than 511 pixels you need to use your own (non-photo.net) webspace and make a hyper link to it.

Peter, that's intresting and different from you, good one man,
  22. Craig:

For your pic to display in-line, it has to be 511 pixels wide, or less, less than about 100K, *and* it must have a caption entered in the caption field. Only then will it display in-line.

Or, your can upload it to your gallery or host it elsewhere, then enter your message as HTML. This is what Nels (and others) is doing. Here's how to reference the pic with an HTML tag: <img src="complete url to your image"> Be sure to enclose the URL in quotes, and be sure to chose HTML where it says "The above text is:" on the entry screen. When you hit Submit, you should see your image. If you don't, use your Back button to go back and correct the problem.
