Same location, but June 3, 1956. Photographer "C.E.S.", presumably Verichrome Pan 116 or 616. (Also a riff on Nels' previous "Metro" w/nw, these streetcars are what came before Metro, before the highway people got rid of them to solve Washington's traffic problems.)<div>00GdTd-30110184.jpg.33b8c1a3611115ad65417ccc83bbafb9.jpg</div>

Now, here's one that's on-location, and on topic, one person, and many (dirty) statues.

This was taken October 27, 1977, during the most unfortunate period of Union Station as the "National Visitors' Center", with a giant pit in the middle of the floor with a multi-screen slide show.

Film is High Speed Ektachrome, the last year before the switch to E-6.

Sorry, the camera was my Topcon Super D, probably 35mm lens, although I might have borrowed a 25mm for this outing.<div>00GdU6-30110484.thumb.jpg.431b5ac195f546d5a9e1cc91d99066d0.jpg</div>
