w/nw orchid still

Just experimenting; background is a milky white plastic sheet from

Taps Plastics taped to a window, foreground fill is a large sheet of

cardboard with foil glued to it (my favorite directional light

reflector). Reflector clamped to a light stand and positioned above

lens axis close to subject. 1.0s f/8 with DMR and Macro 60 @ ISO 100.

A little high contrast on screen, but will flatten in print (density

range in print is much less than contrast range on screen).

Great shot Jan-love the color. It's nice to see a DMR shot here, I haven't been seeing many at all. As a suggestion, you might also try taking a piece of white foamcore-say 24" by 36" and stretch silver lame material over one side, stapled in back, it makes a very nice fill-a little softer<div>00FW8W-28593584.jpg.a1e7f078d049b6d50d6251452f7abe89.jpg</div>
