My scanner crops the little margin to the right of her hand that is actually there on the negative. I think the Nikon Super Coolscan5000 pinches the film between rubber rollers on left and right and pulls it flat but in doing so it robs you of a tiny bit of the top and bottom of the frame. My only complaint about this scanner. <BR><BR>

Just shot these last night. Kent I absoulutely LUV that. What a fun shot.

Trevor, these girls are practicing for a feis in Costa Mesa CA that starts today. A friend of

mine is making a promotional movie and he asked to shoot some stills for him. BTW I like

your photos immensly and everyone including Nels 1st.

Thanks - somewhere I wrote down the troupe name. I think they were from Manhattan Beach and go to all the events and St Patrick's day parades. Same socks, same shoes, wigs that bounce when they dance. And there were older girls in the troupe I shot. I bet they're the same.

Thanks Barry. (OK I even got the wrong continent!) I didn't realise that they did Celtic / Irish dancing in CA.

Looked exactly like a hotel in Perranporth (Cornwall UK) where they have Celtic dancing for the Lowender Perran every October.

Vivek the Hilton on Bristol, I won't be there tonight I'm running out right now for San Diego,

but the feis is going now. BTW nice pic of yours and Stuart thanx and your shot IMO is very
