rustys pics Posted March 24, 2005 Share Posted March 24, 2005 Very nice. I've always thought that the older Nikon lenses exhibit a wonderful "bloom" when you shoot "contra jour" or into the light. It is hard for me to admit that my late 1970s Nikon AI lenses are no longer state of the art, but then again, neither am I! To those who commented via email on my portfolio: 1) I did not have to kill the dog to get the photo of my hearth. Popping him in the freezer for a few minutes slowed him down sufficiently for my 1/8 sec f/11 exposure on Fuji 200 color film. 2) Yes, not only do we make the horse and blind pony eat out in the snow, but we also blindfold them just for fun.
