michael s. Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 Yes, sir, Mr. Bill. :) On mine, I was actually struggling a bit in the other direction -- to get rid of the zig-zag on that earphone cord -- but it still needs a little work. Back to the drawing board. (It's here on a link so I may subtly replace it.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nowhereman Posted November 2, 2007 Author Share Posted November 2, 2007 >>>Mitch, very nice specifics please.<<< Thanks, Ron. This is shot with the Ricoh GX100 at ISO 100 in B&W JPG, and extensively dodged and burned with contrast increase the same way I would do this in the darkroom. --Mitch/Paris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

michael s. Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Orville, I especially like both the 2:47 and the 2:51 photos.

<a href=" title="Photo Sharing">
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
orvillerobertson Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Thanks, Michael, believe it or not I've ben trying to take a good picture of the 2:51 image for about 20 years. Finally got it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

paul_beavin Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Orville--I absolutely love your NYC photos. My wife and I visit on occasion and I love just taking pix of the place, like what you do. Everything up there seems interesting--even the mundane/arcane stuff! I'd love to move up there some day and just walk around and take pix. Thank you again!! Please keep them coming... Paul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
orvillerobertson Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Paul, shooting in NYC is such a dream, although I've greatly enjoyed shooting in Boston and San Francisco in the past. Allan, that picture is really interesting, almost hellish. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
