A friend at the camera store let me try a Kaplan style shot with his M8, so this doesn't qualify as "my" Leica. The 15mm CV was mine though. How's that for a serious look! If I drop it this could get very expensive... :-[ M8, 15mm CV @ f/4.5<div></div>

This one's with the 15mm on my M4. Probably at f/4.5 as well...

James, I have that photo you took of Al Kaplan with your M-8 ready. I just keep forgetting to send it. Today!

 

I enjoy all the Al Kaplan style photos on this thread. I got hooked on it. I can do it somewhat with a 35mm lens.

Hey Chris, good to see a Bessa in the mix and nice self-portrait.

 

I also appreciate your bravery. I do this self-portrait thing from time to time, and I'm taking more and more self-portraits a-la Al kaplan and seek every chance to post a few.

 

Many photographers seem hesitant to post self-portraits, but many of the most famous of the most famous photographers did a fine job with interesting and creative self-portraits. Why not us? I have nothing to hide! (^U^)
