W/NW 2022 Pic-O'-The-Week #33

The last shot, I was attempting a re-make of Julia Cameron's photo of Thomas Carlyle. It was a petzval lens, I believe she used, such an all over the place for focus. Go here to see it: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https://collectionapi.metmuseum.org/api/collection/v1/iiif/269434/1292666/main-image&imgrefurl=https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/269434&h=1200&w=967&tbnid=fA40KkyGHd8YfM&q=thomas+carlyle+photo&tbnh=150&tbnw=121&usg=AI4_-kRN2I0hORiI2p3i8SaQ2UfyCN3PzA&vet=1&docid=iQf2wLWxozRoQM&hl=en-AU&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi6wOmm2df5AhV9HjQIHQ1bA0EQ9QF6BAgJEAo

I miss him. His name was Michael. Where do elephants go to die? Like all our shots, moments lost in time, like tears lost in rain. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1).

Just returned last night from an Alaska cruise, many thanks to Bill for getting the thread going this week!

Here is a scene atop Castle Hill of downtown Sitka, Alaska with St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Cathedral in the center.
