"In the Footsteps of the 82nd Airborne" Memorial walk - February 2020 Leica IIIc, 35mm f/3.5 Elmar, Fomapan 100. 1/30th @ f/4.5-ish...
Bill Bowes, what a good shot. You made me look up lilikoi and calamansi, names I'd not encountered before. Now I know. Lilikoi brought back some memories. You may have seen that wonderful Oz movie, 'the odd angry shot'. There's an arresting scene where the SAS reccie team are caught up in their first shooting match. The actor, I think it was Graham Kennedy, turns to his mate during the melee and says "I'd die for a passiona right now' (passiona being a popular Oz fizzie drink based on carbonated passionfruit and sugar). And calamansi, known as calamondin here, is grown widely, often used as a steep in brandy. You are blessed. My week has been beset with some calamity - domestic illness, localised flooding. So an old shot taken on an M3, elmar lens, FP4 developed in Ilfosol, scanned, of one of my stepdaughters (we don't talk now. She thinks I should be sectioned under the Inebriates Act. My thoughts, I cannot publish). So, regards, Arthur (apiarist1)
So many good shots. Eddie - keep safe. LMar, that is good. I wish I had that control of focus. Bravo. Arthur (apiarist1)
