Bill Blackwell Images
This week I'll go with a smorgasbord of travel snaps going back 20+ years to as recent as last November. If you happen to be a lurker in the forum and you've never (or rarely) posted, please don't be shy. We need to let the PN community know Leica shooters are still alive and active! christopher_a._junker1
No need to apologize about using the Contax/Sonnar combination. The images look very period on my monitor except the guys aren't worn and dirty enough. RC and DDD would approve.

Moving On
I have been reviewing my first several rolls results developing B&W a year ago and it appears I need to refine my exposures to reduce the muddy tones. First thought it might be development, but found some multiples that reflected the difference. Also have to pay more attention to camera movement. Time to break out the monopod and tri-pod. The newness of the rangefinders and metering is a little distracting.

The images look very period on my monitor except the guys aren't worn and dirty enough. RC and DDD would approve. My comment was aimed at Bill's opening statement concerning Leica shooters being alive and active ;) I need to go over my Vuescan settings again, as my scans have become a bit flat after the last update. Saturday evening after breaking down the bridge many of the team were wet, cold and muddy. The free hamburgers and drinks provided by the community of Bettendorf were a warm welcome. M16 Halftrack used as an anchor for the security cable, as there was no tree on this side of the river.
