aaron_ng1
1) I would like to ask what lens profile I should use for Voigtlander 25mm f4P (M-mount) for M246? I just got this lens. Took it for a spin. I set the profile at 24 f2/8 11878/11898 and got very poor IQ. Certain part of the pictures are fuzzy, with quite heavy shading on both sides. I set Lr's lens correction at Voigtlander 25mm f4 but the shading over-corrected. 2) Does a LH-1 lens hood work better than the little round one that comes with the lens? Thanks for your replies. Bill Blackwell Images
I'd try the Leica 24mm f/3.8 Elmar-M (6-bit code = XXOOXO). It's the nearest to the CV as to the largest aperture. “When you come to a fork in the road, take it ...” – Yogi Berra
xtual
Hello, I have put a 25mm/F:4 Voigtlander lens on my 262, which is, without video, the same sensor as the LeicaM240; At first I had terrible results in fringing and magenta issues. Then I set the profile at :28mm/F:2.8 ASPh and BINGO! I am getting great pictures (probably a compromise between the 25 and 28mm frame), no fringing, almost no magenta issues. Try it and see ! pensacolaphoto
Thanks. This is useful information. I may use my CV 25/4 on the M240 soon.
