Visual Echoes Panning Plate

OK, here goes since no one else has responded - I can only speak to one use - shooting with a long, heavy lens from safari vehicles. Properly supported on a bean bag over the roof rails, it allows easy, fluid movement almost as good as a Wimberley head (which would be impossible in this environment). I would not be without it - and other photographers have wanted to buy it from me on the spot.

I can see how it work work well in certain situations on the ground, but I would think you would want a right-angle finder because it would be so low. I will try it on the ground for a hippo-in-the-lily-pond shot if conditions are right.
