jeff_rivera5
I've been thinking about this off and on ever since I got my PentaxDSLR. Does anyone know anything about this? I emailed Gandy and he said he doesn't have them (though it ismentioned on his site, he only has Nikon and EOS). It shouldn't betoo difficult to mix M39 to M42 to Pentax K adapters with the rightspacing. Are the viso lens heads threaded M39? Anyhow, if you have any info, I'd appreciate it. al_kaplan1
The Visoflex lenses are 39mm LTM, the Visoflex II are M bayonet, but both are shorter mounts. A year or so ago I sold a homemade adapter here I'd made with a Leitz M bayonet to M bayonet 7mm (I think) extension tube (part # ?) with a bit of the bayonet flanges filed off, epoxied into a Pentax 42mm T-mount adapter. You could do the same thing with any T-mount adapter.
doug herr
You'd think that a viso-to-T mount adapter would be a no-brainer but I haven't heard of this yet. It would make it possible to fit Visoflex lenses on to a huge variety of 35mm SLR bodies.
mark-j
I have a custom adapter to put Viso II/III bayonet mount lenses onto a Nikon F flange. It was made in the early 70's by Professional Comera Repair of New York. The adapter is composed of a Leica flange on the front end and it looks to be a Vivitar T series adapter on the back. I am not looking at it, but I believe one could change the rear adapter for a Pentax M42. I could take photos and e-mail them to you if you would like. Cheers. Mark J.
