using the light meter in canon EOS cameras

Im sorta a newbie to photography and would like to know how to use

the light meter in canon eos cameras , also what is "ev" , for

example ev 1 - ev 6 ? thanx in advance

What are you asking, exactly? Do you want to know how to figure

out the correct exposure settings for a scene using an EOS

camera?

The internal light meter is hooked into the built-in computer

system - you never use it directly as such. Rather you set the

camera to a specific exposure mode (fully automated program,

fully manual, etc) and the camera goes from there. Consult the

manual which came with your camera for more details.
