vincent_j_m
If you can explicitly state what's lacking in the Tokina and be sure that the 24-70L addresses those issues, then yes it's worth the upgrade. Offhand, I can think of a few : AF speed, sharpness wide open, flare, and compatibility with EOS bodies. I almost bought a second hand Tokina 28-80/2.8 ATX Pro II but when I tested it with my Elan-7e it would focus a little in front of the subject, all the time, but worked fine on the old EOS-5. yakim_peled1
Well, of course. Do you really think that the money difference only stem from marketing decisions ? Happy shooting ,Yakim.
bellavance
I've had mine for a few days, and I really like it. It gives very sharp images even at f/2.8 on my 10D. Pierre
