Unwanted Flash advertisements

Even logged in, I am seeing pop-up problems with the top banner.

In IE6 it appears that "accidental mouse-overs" with some

advertisements will place large animated Flash presentations on the

middle of the screen. In today's case, a jogger running accros the

monitor.

This is also a good reason for anyone building webpages to avoid

Flash. Because of obnoxious advertisements, there will be a demand

for Flash-blocking web browser products.

All the more reason to use the Mozilla Firefox browser which does have a flash-blocking extension.....

I agree - clearly this all depends on the browser that one uses. I use Safari (an Apple

browser), and have never had such problems! - in fact I don't get any pop ups at all! - I

understand that Windows browsers are plagued with such problems.
