This is a scanned version of the Feb 1973 Pop Photo article on Tyler

Thornton and his innovative use of Infrared Ektachrome in Glamor

Photography. A month or so I remarked that a student's shot reminded

me of this technique. It was "photoshopped". I though this article

might give some people ideas on color Infrared. <p>

 

The work is of course NOT MINE. It contains sufficient technical

detail to give you some idead to experiment. I could not find any

reference to it on the web. I am hosting it on my site, on my disk

space, and provide the links here.<p>

 

It would be ashame if such an innovative technique was lost except to

us old-timers with our boxes of old Pop and Modern Photography

magazines. Hence the posting of it here. I hope it inspires a few of

you to try this technique. Of course Mr. Thornton used Nikons.<p>
