robert_marvin
Does anyone know what the new Ultrafine Xtreme 400 ISO 120 film is? Has anyone tried it?
[AFAIK the slightly less expensive Ultrafine Plus 100 and 400 ISO films are re-branded Foma]
larrydressler
I have a roll I have not shot yet. I have shot the 35mm and I think it is crap. On the other hand the 100 in 35mm is beautiful. The 100 almost has the old APX 100 cream look and has a speed as far as I can tell that is closer to 200 than it is to 100 and I even pushed a roll to 400 with no problem The 400 on the other hand looked bad at 400 and 200 in Rodinal, Hc-110 and Diafine.
robert_marvin
Unfortunately only the 400 is available in 120. Can you tell mer where it's made? That would be a pretty good clue to who the manufacturer is.
larrydressler
All the edge marking on the35mm says is Ultrafine eXtreme 400. The box has Made in EU on it for the 120 but not the 35mm as it came in the plastic can only. The plastic can does not look like a Foma can but it is identical to a Kentmere can.
