To rent equipment try http://www.theflashcentre.com/ - unfortunatley their website is pretty awful, however they are reputable and a good source for hiring kit. For buying equipment, I would always suggest finding a good local shop, however they are losing out massively to the lsrge online stores, like www.warehouseexpress.com. www.studioflash.co.uk are a good online store for PocketWizards and quality softboxes... Finally, (PLUG PLUG) I am personally designing some high end coffee table style artbooks for weddings, and have a local printer/case binder who can do a first class finishing job - drop me a line at james@jamesophotography.com if you want to discuss!
