alice_guy
Anybody else using Rawshooter and Photoshop CS2? I've batched a load of NEFs through Rawshooter into Tiffs and specified Adobe RGB (1998) as the colorspace. Then when I open the files in CS2 (with Adobe RGB 1998 as my working colorspace) the Photoshop dialogue box pops up saying that the profiles do not match. It claims the Tiffs are Adobe RGB (1998) and that the current workspace is Adobe RGB (1998)! Yes, you did read that right, it's not a typo... surley they're the same? Are there two different Adobe RGB (1998) colourspaces that I'm unaware of? Any advice, solutions, experience greatly appreciated.<div></div>
andrew_rodney1
Not impossible. There is only one Adobe RGB (1998) but if someone or some software modified any of the internal tags but kept the name the same, Photoshop would recognize this and pop this dialog. Do a search on your computer for Adobe RGB (1998). The one Adobe installs is right. Find the other that Rawshooter is accessing and toss it, replace with a copy of the one above. That should fix things. In the meantime, set the Photoshop policy to Preserve and just click the OK button to open the file.
