Two button rest to my defaults for the D2H?

Does Nikon Capture or any other software allow setting

personal defaults such that when I presses and hold the ISO and

WB buttons the D2H is set to my defaults not the factory

defaults.
I want this capacity in the field. I do not want to be required

to have the camera tethered to a computer. This was possible with

the F5 though I never needed it. I sorely need this with the D2H.

If this is not possible what can I do? Can I do this when the

camera is tethered to a computer?
Thank you!
Thanks for the reply. My problem is sometimes I mess up banks I

intend not to change. I dont think there is a way to lock

the settings on a particular bank. That would help a lot. I have

specific uses for banks A, B and D in both the shooting and

custom settings menus. The C bank in both is for miscellaneous

use.
I believe there is a way to do something with Nikon Capture but I

have not bought it and Im saving my trial for the wedding

of a cousins son. Now I wonder if I can extract the manual

without installing the trial version of Capture. That way I could

study it a bit before using it. I know Capture is not really

expensive but I became a home owner at the end of last year and

the house is a fixer upper and I have no photo equipment budget

this year. :(
From the lack of responses I guess few want something like this

which surprises me. Maybe most who would benefit from something

like this shoot F2(s) and F3(s) to eliminate the problem altogether.
Thanks!
PS: the question was poorly written. I was in a hurry to get to

work. Id like any way to straiten out messed up banks or

basic camera settings without going to the cameras defaults.

I want to rest to my own defaults.
2nd PS: I would think this feature, if available, would be indentical for the D2X. Any D2X owners have advice?

Hi Dave

Well I did some looking at capture and you can save your settings to your computer and then reload them into your camera. You can also access all of the camera settings in Capture.

Just so you know the help section on Capture is like most of the help sections of programs they suck.

But it looks like you would need to have your D2h hooked up to a computer to reload the settings.

Hope I was a little more helpful this time.

Michael
