bstinshoff
My Canon Elph Jr. accidentally fell to the ground the other day. No apparent damage except that the fall activated the date stamp and imprint message function, which I don't want. I don't have a manual, can't find one on line and can't figure out how to turn it off. On the LCD display, the once solid line above the film counter symbol. is now blinking. I'm afraid the blinking display will drain the battery. The only settings for the date/message screen are four buttons - title, select, date and set. Any ideas on how they work. I'm hoping other point and shoot cameras have similar features and that someone out there can help me out. Thanks in advance Bruce
