Trying to remember a photographer's name.

  1. They did kind of fake lifestyle shots of people in their living rooms/back yards. I remember one with a guy golfing and maybe a woman getting drunk by a pool. Any thoughts?
  2. Sounds like it might be Bill Owens but his work was not fake. He photographed people in their actual homes, offices, etc and the quotes that often accompany these pictures were really their own words too.
  3. Gregory Crewdson
  4. Nope not either of them. Was in color and not as fantasy as Crewdson.
  5. You could be thinking of Martin Parr.
But he doesn't do fake photos.
  6. Sounds like some (many) of David LaChapelle's shoots.
  7. Not Parr either, similar feel though. It wasn't as crazy as LaChapelle. It was very minimalistic one or two people sitting around. Very golden hour-esque lighting. Made me think of housewives in Palm Springs.
  8. William Eggleston has a lot of images like the ones you are talking about.
