Troubleshooting Pantone huey calibration- no difference

I have a Pantone huey colorimeter. I reinstalled windows recently and when I

tried to calibrate my monitor, the results were exactly the same as before. I

know what the calibrated version should look like. Is there a reason why it's

not calibrating (even though the software said it is)? I don't want to

reinstall windows again just to fix this (if it fixes it). Thanks

I'm a little confused: It's "the same as before"? Before you ever calibrated, or same as the last time you calibrated?

 

Anyway, have you made sure your new profile is loaded and is the default?

When you finish using the software, there's a screen that presents you with a before/after comparison so you can switch between the two. You should definitely see a difference. If nothing shows up there then I'd try reinstalling the Huey software and trying again as it sounds like the new profile isn't being taken up.

I fixed it. I had to update my video card drivers.
