molly_m
Has anyone ever been to one of the Tremont Institute photography workshops in the Smokies? I'm thinking about signing up for the fall one, but not sure its worth the money. Any thoughts?
eric_silvi
Sign up, it's well worth the money. I've taken the fall one with Willard Clay ,twice. Had a great time and learned alot. Wil is the lead instructor, they also hire 3-4 assistants, all are good photographers. They put you up in camp/dorm style rooms. The male side was aprox 15 per section. (not a whole lot of privacy) The meals are served "family" style. Food was really good, I didn't go hungry. I've also taken the Spring Workshop. Bill Lea is also a good instructor. David Duhl wasn't that good of an instructor. Both workshops have the same assistants. You can't go wrong with the location...
