transition lenses ?? what to do?

I have a couple that both wear "transition lenses" that turn dark outdoors...

They wanted to do family studio portraits to avoid the whole eyeglasses issue, but my studio is really small, and

not set up for family portraits.

what to do......

Don`t worry. The lenses will go dark in the studio with flash just like the sun changes them. So you will exactly the same effect. The density will be there,just not as severe as sun darkening

I used to wear these things. They can be obtained in different degrees of density, but they'll appear a little shaded indoors even under room light or window light. I would be surprised if flash would have any discernible effect, but a strong continuous UV source might.

 

Can you get access to a large indoor location, like a public building with no unfiltered sun or skylight?

I will put it this way. Inside with flash they appear darker than with flash than they do to your eye. I do not know if continuous incandescest inside will produce the same effect.
