Brad Cloven
There are several more from the roll, but they get highly repetitive. I'm pleased.

If anyone can spot a shutter error with the Canon P, please let me know. I had some concerns with some shots, but others seemed quite even. Paging Guz Lazzari!
tony_lockerbie
Wow Brad, these are spectacularly good, lovely tones and sharpness, obviously a nice outfit. You have a good eye for an abstract!
SCL
Great shots,,,I love my P. Decided to have it CLA'd to smooth out the winding gear which sounded a little rough, now it is just about as quiet and smooth as my Leicas. No shutter errors on mine when I got it, all speeds were within 1/3 stop, validated when it was CLA'd. Keep up the good work...you have a really nice camera, lens, and eye for interesting photos where others might only take a passing glance.

rick_drawbridge
Great work, Brad, the kind of subject matter that attracts me. The quality of the kit shines through and your compositions are great. Hard to pick a stand-out image, though #1 and #6 please me. How about a photo of the camera? Thanks for the post!
Julio Fernandez
Spectacular, especially those close-ups. Tones are impressive.

I have the same lens and should use it more often.
bernard_lazareff
Well made images, congratulations.
Plus, even though my reason tells me the on-screen resolution does not allow such a statement, my eyes tell me theat your images look sharp. Difficult to explain.
donald_miller5
After I got the same lens, the more I use other lenses the more I appreciate that cannon lens.
Brad Cloven
All: Thanks for the feedback!

Rick: When I spotted that foundry yard, I pulled the truck over and blew through about 30 shots in 30 minutes. :-) Good subject matter. I don't then go process my own and get those butter-smooth results like you, but they are nice and workmanlike.

Bernard: The shutter speed (1/250th), lens resolution and scanning (NCPS, "Enhanced") is so good that you can see the individual grains of silver going from white to black along a line of contrast if you pixel peep (800%). Kind of an interesting cross-hatch "wicker" pattern in the TMax that I'm not used to seeing in Fuji color slide land.

Donald: Now I need to find a 35mm focal length lens that I like that much. I got a 40mm to 52mm adaptor so that I can put a filter on the front for protection. I separately got an original Canon lens hood for the unit. Those two ideas conflict, so I have to choose now. Do you put anything on the front of yours?

Oh! And the requested Camera Porn. Here's a pic from the original EBay Listing:

chuck_foreman1
Always late to the party... I enjoyed your post too. Made me wonder about even more details of how they'Re constructed/function ...though your photos lent a lot of insight. I know that feeling too...you hit something and 30 pics in 30 minutes.. inspired! Happy shooting with your new camera!
