stacy
Any recommendations on books/websites/online classes etc to learn to use Adobe Illustrator? Thanks a million :)
JDMvW
The two series I've had best luck with in general are the Pogue "Missing Manual" series from O'Reilly and the "Bible" series from Wiley Publishing. However, while I have owned copies of Illustrator going back to early versions, and have bought a fair number of 'how-to' books about the application, I still have never found the books compelling enough or the practical need great enough to actually learn how to use the darn thing. I haven't actually kept buying it exactly, it has come bundled with other Adobe programs that I do use all the time.
garrison_k.
totaltraining.com and/or lynda.com May I assume this is for designing wedding albums? Indesign might be worth learning too. They go hand in hand.
mikael_karlsson
Adobe's Classroom in a Book. Dry as petrified wood but very informative.
stacy
Thanks you guys- making my library list now :) Oh- and it's not for wedding albums- just for fun, but I would love to learn Indesign too. I have it and a book, but haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks again!
