50d-boy
Has anyone used this lens in conjunction w/ a 10D or a 300D? If so what's the AF performance like and the sharpness at various apetures? I'm considering it as my primary lens, w/ an EF 85 f1.8 as my prime. my back up would be the kit lens EF-S 18-55 mm Comments?
yakim_peled1
<P> Have a look <a href="http://www.photographyreview.com/35mm,Zoom/Tokina,AT-X,287,AF,Pro,SV,28-70mm,f-2.8,/PRD_142610_3128crx.aspx">here</a>. HTH.</P> <P> BTW, your lens choice puzzles me. You go from excellent to very good to a <a href="http://photonotes.org/articles/beginner-faq/lenses.html#kitlenses">cheapie</a>. Why ? </P> <P> Happy shooting , <br>Yakim. </P>
50d-boy
I assume by cheepie you refer to the EF-S 18-55,... I just needed to get started and shoot with "something",..., and it's allowed me the luxury of contemplating the wonderful world of lenses at photo.net,..., prior to making a boneheaded decision for the 300D's next lens. asimh
if you are checking out the tokina, it might be worth while to also check out the Tamron 28-75 f2.8. Lots of people on here and on dpreview forums speak very highly of it..
