andrew_schank
I have tried a few local shops and wasn't blown away by the work on classic cameras. It is probably worth shipping the camera to Ross Yerkes. He did a nice job on several of my older items, and is very familiar with most of the classics. nhat
Ross has worked on many of my cameras. He has tuned-up my Yashica 124g. He's an honest good old fashion repairman. A master of his craft. When I was over there last, he was signing for a package from Japan. Someone over there sent him a Kowa to work on (Kowa's are his specialties). So I guess shipping from the Bay area wouldn't be a problem! Give him a call. He's based in Los Angeles and works from his home because most of his business are shipped to him. If you want to check local resources, you may to give Gasser a call in downtown SF, may be they can direct you.
