bruno_menilli
Has anyone heard of, seen or used the Zorkendorfer tilt and shift adaptor ? I recently bought the close-up and macro special issue of Leica Fotographie Intl. dated 1999, and the above is mentioned 'in passing' on page 5, bottom left (in case someone has this issue as well), so I assume it must exist,or existed. If this item works it would be the answer to a long standing problem of mine. Regards Bruno
lacey_smith4
I've an older tilt-shift bellows for the Visoflex, but the shortest lenses I can effectively use are 135 or longer, and even there the shorter lengths preferably in large format mounts. All these adaptors need a lens that will work at the new (significantly longer) lens to film distance (if you are interested in anything beyond macro), so, for the most part, regular Leica lenses will nto work -- the Zorkendorfer (or the Horesman adaptor (also available -- I think -- check B&H), all are really designed to fit a larger format lens (depending on adaptor) on a smaller format film body -- MF or LF lens on 35 mm, or LF on medium format bodies, etc. I believe the Horseman has different adaptors for both the front and back, so a variety of lenses can be used on a variety of bodies. The concept is fine, but you will not mount a Leica lens on these for use on a Leica body. At best, say, a Hassy lens on an R body, but I am not positive about even that. They are not like the Canon 24-90 TS lenses.
