preston_merchant Posted February 9, 2004 Share Posted February 9, 2004 I recently spent some time aboard a dhow (traditional wooden cargo vessel) docked at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The Mahalaxmi carried a crew from Gujarat (India) who were heading from Sharjah to Kuwait, then to Iraq, and back to India.
