The attack of the Alien Bees

Since many, including myself have posted a numerous amount of

questions regarding the choice of monolights to make, I will be more

than happy to share my experience in choosing and finally getting what

I think are the best lights for the buck.

 

Few weeks ago I have posted a question: "what do people thing about

the white lightning?" and of course I have received a ton of

responses. Please, I would like to make myself clear, not a single

one was negative. So I took all of your advice, thought about it...

and finally bought... Alienbees B1600. Therefore, firstly please

allow me to thank everyone who have contributed to my previous post.

Second, for those who are still deciding which lights to get,

Alienbees are fantastic. This was my experience. I am thinking of

taking it with me on location for formal shots (especially in the

winter, no natural light available inside a reception hall and/or

church)
