harris_goldstein
I needed 2 tiny screws for my Mamiya press lens. Not only did Mamiya have them, but sent them for free. They deserve some credit both for having the part and not charging anything - not even postage. How many companies would have charged an exhorbitant amount to cover the administrative cost? bob haight
Small move on Mamiya's part to foster customer satisfaction given the changing dynamics of the imaging market.
dennisprice
I think it's much more than a "small move", and it's not a recent change of attitude IMHO. Based on my similar experiences with them over the years, the people in their parts dept have always gone out of their way to be helpful in supporting old Mamiya equipment that has long been discontinued. jim_mcbride
I've been using Mamiya MF equipment since the 1970s and have had nothing but positive experiences with the company for the past 30+ years. They are pros.
yodleboy
yeah, its things like that that make you go back to certain companies. i emailed an online store where i had purchased some sunglasses a few years back to see if they had any spare earpieces... a rep emails back and says he doesn't know of any, but he'd keep his eyes open. so i forget about it and about 2 months later, he emails me telling me he's already got them in the mail to me. i was really blown away... thats kind of sad really.
