Test Print For Epson 3880?

  1. At least once a week I want to run a print through an Epson 3880 to ensure the nozzles stay clear. Can anyone recommend a suitable test print that will adequately work all the inks and possibly show up any other calibration/printer issues?
  2. Run the Epson printer test pattern page, and print it.
  3. I've had my 3800 since it became available and I've not had a clog. I do live in the usually moist Pacific northwest though. I usually print every week or two. The print quality in both color and black and white is quite incredible.

Recently it was suggested to further decrease the chance of a clog, that I add a few ounces of water to the maintenance cartridge monthly. I've done so for a few of the wettest months in years here in Oregon and I've still not had a clog. We'll see, but it is certainly simple to do.

  4. All good comments, thank you both.
