george_daneliya
On old leicas leather covering is rather dry and fragile. How do you treat leather covering on your cameras to restore / maintain it in normal condition? I was even thinking to use something like a shoe cream :)

ronald_moravec1
Peal off the vulcanite and put new non rubber cover on. If it has not rotted and dries, I use Mcguires rubber and vinyl on it. Auto supply store. It is not shinny and slippery and you can use it on your car too, the intended purpose.
