I was up in Reykjavik a couple of weeks ago, and had a good look through Ragnar Axelsson's book

'Faces of the north' - it really stood out from the crowd of Icelandic landscape photo books. I was

impressed and bought a copy

Some truly inspiring Leica M photographs from Iceland, Greenland and the Faeroes here <a

stuff

of course it stood out, it isn't a landscape photo book.,.. well, u know. i tend to think of him more as a photographer though, than a user of a certain german camera brand.... ,-)

I finally managed to get this book and it is wonderful. I tried through the publisher - don't waste your time they don't respond to emails. I bought mine from Amazon in the UK for £39 I think it was. Beautifully printed and worth every penny. I think the book is a labor of love - 15 years in the making with some stunning images. Truly inspirational!
