joe_jackson4
I suppose you have to be a bit careful hanging around outside VS with an SLR, but OK, it doesn't seem like such a terrible place to get arrested...

My favourite of this set is the "OWN THIS SCENE..." shot. It's wonky, it's grainy and it works. That one and the last one could make pretty cool CD booklet images for some band out there...
jgredline
Paul, Same here. I really like that ''OWN THIS SCENE'' image and really it's crooked, grainy, underexposed, out of focus and I really love it...I may have to start exploring that route a tad.
hagar
Excellent set Javier.. from the looks of the last set tho, you might be needing a bodyguard sometime soon! And thank you by the way.. we appreciate you're risking life limb and a pentax camera to bring us these photos :-)
jgredline
Thanks Haig. I have been involved somewhat with a group in the UK that does some of that crazy street shooting, so I thought I would try it. It is pretty scary because many of the images I was only a few feet away. The majority I shot at 18mm. I think the next time time I go out, I am going to use my FA 50mm lens, although most use a 35mm prime lens (of which I do not have). Still though what a blast.

michael_kuhne
These are great shots, Javier!! The ME Super performed very well too.

I think I have your procedure for PP straight. I can't find a "smart sharpen" screen on my Photo Shop, but it does have an "unsharp mask" screen, which appears to be similar. So you have an increased sharp setting in camera, then for PP you initially sharpen images at 100%, then after size reduction for posting you again sharpen by 12%.

personalphotos
Javier, I missed this earlier. Some really good stuff here. The Victoria's Secret shot is funny! Love the "Morning after" shot, the graffiti painters, Have nothing (can't figure him out at all!), Street guy with the cross leaning on the palm tree (Does that say 'diamonds' on the inside flap of the box?), Own this Scene was shot just as it should have been and the Led Z girl is very cute. Great stuff all of it!
