Storing Instant Film(FP-100C)

I typically toss my roll and sheet film into the freezer without much thought.

 

With that said, though, I've recently acquired a small stash of FP-100C. At the rate I shoot it, it will take me a while to go through it and obviously I want to keep it fresh.

 

I'm a bit hesitant to put it in the freezer as I'm afraid that the developing chemicals will freeze and cause issues.

 

Is this film safest in the refrigerator, or should I just leave it out in a(cool) room.

I keep mine in my cool basement darkroom.

 

I suspect a refrigerator is a good choice, but don't have so much room in mine.

Don't freeze it! A refrigerator should be OK--when I used a lot of Polaroid B&W and color pack film I used to refrigerate it to extend its life. Freezing it will destroy the chemical pods.
