Stereo Hit present

Recommended Posts

Got a Birthday present from a friend. A Stereo Hit camera from the 1950's. Takes pictures on 127 film and came with original box and all the original contents like the viewer, flash and viewer inserts. The thing still works like a charm.
There are also 4 rolls of old Agfa 127 film (expired in the 1960's) with it and a seemingly lost roll of agfa 620 film (it does not fit in the camera of course). Anybody an idea of what ISO that film has? I would like to try it unless it has some collectors value, then I would consider to depart from those rolls. They haven't been opened and were stored in a dark cabinet for decades.

Mooie aanwinst, Uncle Goose.
Unless you have a strong curiosity to try these expired films, you could always get fresh Efke 127 film, or Rollei's new Retro film in 127 format.
According to some Internet sources: Geaert Gevapan 30 is rated ISO 64

I must admit I've been tempted to buy a stereo camera myself, preferably a 35mm one. But the right one (for the right price) hasn't come along yet.

Regards,
Rick

I'm certainly gonna use it. I can get some rollei 127 film through Fotohuis Rovo and I have to place an order soon because I'm almost out of Foma film. I will not use the Gevapan's because there is still film available new.
The viewer is indeed for small printed foto's, not for the negatives.
