manfred_nehab
I am searching for standardized colour correction profiles in order to apply defined filtering after scanning. Example: Filtering fluorescent light after shooting without appropriate filter.Second question: Are profiles available to correct masking of common color negative films? Are there any plugins or docus existing? Thanks for help
pete_andrews
The auto black, white and mid grey eyedroppers in the curves tool will do all that, as long as there's a neutral grey reference in the image.<br>Any general correction for colour negatives is going to be only approximate, since the tolerance of negative film is quite wide. Also, the orange-coloured contrast mask can't be properly corrected in 8 bit/channel mode. The input must be at 12bit/channel or higher to get decent results from raw colour neg scans.
