SOT: Reading memory cards

A little OT here but the images are shot with a D2HS and I use Nikon View. I

recently got a Firewire CF reader from Sandisk. I have several CF cards and one

of them is a 2gig Extreme III.

When I insert an CF card it shows up on the desktop. MAC 10.3.9. In Nikon View

I can transfer images.

Here is the but....... The Extreme III card shows up on the desktop but as far

as Nikon View is concerned it isn't even there. The Extreme reader can't see

the Extreme III card. All other cards are fine. Any ideas why? I haven't

gotten Sandisk techline on the phone yet.
