Some relatively isolated projects this week

ISS passes over Headington | A7 III and Samyang 14mm F2.8

The space station passed over Oxford this week (several times in fact), and here is the trail over a 30 second exposure. Also visible in the night sky: Orion, the moon, Venus, and the Pleiades star cluster.

Oxford is pretty empty these days - the High Street at 16:45 on Friday afternoon

Conjunction of Venus in Pleiades | A65 and Tamron SP 70-300mm USD

Returning to the night sky, this alignment of Venus with the Pleiades happens once every eight years.
