Sony/Minolta pictures of the week | 29 January

<p>Indeed I was away last weekend, but I did have my camera with me.</p>

<p>The red kite was reintroduced to Britain a few years ago and a colony was subsequently established in the Chilterns, about 20 miles away. They have been very successful and it is not an uncommon sight to see the birds in and around Oxford.</p>

<p>At the end of the day there is a time when Venus is a bright point in the sky, again at RSPB Otmoor</p>

<p>Quite a large mostly white dahlia.</p><div></div>

These hay bales should have some orientation or situation that would make a good picture. So far I haven't found it.<div></div>

These grapes were glowing in the sunlight so I grabbed the Sony and shot.<div></div>
