htarragon
My 70-160 has a wobble betwwun between the variable macro sction and the main body of the lens. Also the aperture blades are not closing past f/11. Can I get this lens repaired? It's much less expensive than the similar Pentax 50-135 f/2.8 SDM AF!
JDMvW
There are a plethora of ca. 70mm to ~200mm zooms available in M42 mount, stop-down versions for much less than a repair would cost, if you were (subjunctive case) able to find anyone brave enough to tackle it.
Whether you could find precisely this lens on eBay for a replacement is a crap shoot. It's not a common range in my experience.
Soligors were good value for the money in their time, but most of their lenses are not among the all-time great cult lenses.

Or is this some kind of AF lens in a derived K-mount, since you compare it to a more modern Pentax lens? We need more information.
Matthew Currie
If you're looking in that zoom range, it might be possible to find the Vivitar Series 1 70-210, which was pretty plentiful in many mounts, and performed well. I've gotten a couple of those that cost not much more than it would cost for a technician even to look at the Soligor.
Mike Gammill
Recently saw one or two of them on ebay. If you want the same model lens check there from time to time.
