steve_parrott
Has anyone used this filter? It looks quite impressive on the website, but then, doesn't everything! I would really appreciate some feedback on this filter before I put down $200 on one. Thanks,Steve http://www.singh-ray.com/sweet.html
JDMvW
I can understand someone feeling that a really expensive filter makes sense when it involves clarity of light transmission, etc. I'm just curious what there would be about this particular diffusion filter that would make it so superior to a Cokin or whatever diffusion filter. Old "Tony Sweet's" effect doesn't seem to be anything special. Please explain what I'm missing here. So I second the original poster's query. OCULUS New York
The Singh-ray is a specialized (in design and manufacture) filter that is reveered by some of the nation's top outdoors photographers. The prices are fairly high, but so is the quality. It was designed by a physicist/scientist, not a glass company. For reference, see www.tonysweet.com and his cross links. It IS special.
