Signing Your Work

Does anyone on PN sign there work. ( digital signing) I was told when I sell a

photo I should sign and date it. I really don't care for the look. Any

suggestions?

Try searching here. It's asked often. There are lots and lots of options ranging from adding a digital signature to the picture to signing the mat in pencil, to placing a certificate of authenticity on the back. It depends on the usage and your audience.

 

Personally, I include a digital signature and copyright notice in the image itself, and none of my buyers have complained.

When I sell a framed print I sign the mat, on the back of the print I put a small sticker with my name on it which you don't see unless you unmount the image. On the back of the frame I place my business card which contains my full name and contact info.
