mtrejo6 Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Greetings. I have an engagement session scheduled for Saturday in Columbus, OH and wanted to get some tips on shooting locations in the area. The couple is young and open to any location recommendation. I was thinking about downtown Columbus since it seems to fit their style but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! heather_claypool Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Hi! I'm here in Columbus too! I love shooting downtown...North Bank Park is a great place to start with the skyline as a backrgound. From there you can head over to the Museum of Art (really cool arches and steps) or to the Nationwide Arena Arch. There's also Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley and Franklin Park Conservatory isn't far from there either (although they do want you to pay $7.50 per person to shoot there). Good Luck! kiva Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Heather mentioned very nice locations in Columbus ... you can shoot around the grounds at the Franklin Park Conservatory for no cost but going inside (which is very interesting) does cost the fee mentioned.
